Nancy Willis is a London-based artist who has been exhibiting since the early 1980s.

Her processes include painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and moving image. Nancy’s work explores universal themes like love, loss and human vulnerability from her experience of life as a disabled woman.

In her early career, Nancy joyfully embraced the freedoms of being an artist in contrast to the restrictions she had experienced in her education at a ‘special’ school.

In 2022 Nancy was invited to take part in Frieze Art Fair with the Thomas Dane Gallery. In 2023 four of her artworks were selected for Women in Revolt! first shown at Tate Britain and now at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. She also has work in the Hayward Gallery touring exhibition at Millennium Gallery Sheffield 24 October 2024 - 21 January 2025.

Her current show 'With One Touch her Spirit Soared' can be seen in the side chapel at St James's Church Piccadilly 17th November - 8th December2024.
