Beginning

As a child I was able to run about and play with my four brothers. I dreamed of becoming an explorer, or joining the circus as a trapeze artist.

Growing up I became gradually disabled by Muscular Dystrophy and ended up at a residential 'special' school.

By the time I left, I was longing for freedom and adventure. I'd had enough of rules; I couldn't spell, or do maths. Unruly, chaotic and late for everything, I only liked doing art and writing endlessly, without punctuation!

One day, pondering on my unpromising future, somebody brilliantly suggested Art College and I thought yes, that will do for me. And this was how I became an artist.
